The 26 years in the Service included nearly 5000 flying hours as a flight engineer on Hercules and Sentry aircraft and also two seasons on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster. He became a Director of Scampton Airshow Limited when the company was formed in June 2016.
Director Finance
Steve Gunyon

Steve joined the team at RAFCTE in 2013. Having spent the last 20 years working in financial and commercial roles for a range of aerospace businesses designing, making and supporting aircraft systems and assemblies for Civil and Military aircraft it's really great to finally get airside. In a way it's almost taken him full circle, because Steve's first job in industry after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant was for a business that included Air Europe, so from the start of his career aircraft have always been part of the buzz. In between Steve squeezed in a few years with consumer focused businesses, with some well-known brands, but nothing that quite has the same "wow" factor as an Airshow! Steve's team looks after Finance, IT and Comms and was appointed a Director of Scampton Airshow Limited when the company was formed in June 2016.
