Alpha Jet

The Alpha Jet, developed originally by French manufacturer Dassault-Breguet and West German firm Dornier, first flew in 1973. It is a twin-engine advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft that has served with countries around the world from Togo to Thailand. It remains in service with several air arms, France being the biggest current operator. The Alpha Jet is the mount of the Patrouille de France display team and at this year's Scampton Airshow an Alpha Jet E will be taking part in the flying display on both days of the airshow.
