Two Gazelle helicopters from the Gazelle Squadron will be joining the flying display at the first Scampton Airshow.
The Gazelle, built by French company Aerospatiale, is a utility and light attack helicopter, introduced in 1973. It enjoyed great export success, flying with Air Forces from Ecuador to China.
A retired RAF example
will be flying alongside and doing a demonstration with a retired Royal Navy Gazelle
. Both, pictured above, are now flown in civilian hands and make up the fleet of over nine aircraft operated by the Gazelle Squadron.
