Coach operator and airshow offer first class service

Visitors to the Scampton Airshow can kick-back and relax thanks to a convenient new travel service provided by PC Coaches.
Making access to the inaugural Scampton Airshow easy for all, organisers have joined forces with PC Coaches to create a dedicated coach service from Lincoln Central straight to RAF Scampton. The tailored route, which will run alongside the airshow on Saturday 9 and 10 September, is available to all ticket holders.
Tickets for the airshow are available online for £39 and visitorspurchasing a combined coach and admission ticket will receive return coach transport at a special subsidised price of just £3. Whilst admission to all under 16's is free to the airshow when accompanied by a ticket holding adult, under 16s will be charged £3 for a return coach trip.
Alison Price of Scampton Airshow said: "We'd love to fly all spectators to the show if we could, but hopefully this is the next best thing! There will be some really exciting flying displays as well as lots of activities and exhibitions across the airfield so it really is a great value family day out. Tickets are only available online in advance of the airshow so we recommend booking as soon as possible as you won't want to miss it!"
The coach service will run regularly before and after the spectacular five-hour flying display, starting at 7:30am, with the last pick up from RAF Scampton at 7:15pm.Visitors are advised to allow 30 minutes to travel from Lincoln Central to the airshow.
PC Coaches of Lincoln is a family run business established more than 35 years ago. The Scampton Airshow, staged in support of the RAF Charitable Trust, will take place from 9-10 September at RAF Scampton. Visitors to the show will witness an impressive five-hour flying display which includes the legendary Red Arrows, complemented by an array of entertainment on the ground, from a nostalgic Vintage Village through to interactive and engaging STEM exhibits in the Techno Zone.
Combined bus and admission tickets are available now from the Scampton Airshow website at www.scamptonairshow.com. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
